Since December 2022, Azerbaijan has blcokaded the Lachin (Berdzor) Corridor between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). Around 120,000 civilians, including 30,000 children, have been trapped, lacking access to food, energy, and medicine. A famine looms as a result.
This is a deliberate attempt to erase the Armenian population from Artsakh. Genocide Watch, the IAGS, and the former ICC prosecutor Luis Moreno Ocampo, together have warned that “the conditions Azerbaijan has imposed on Artsakh amount to genocide”.
