For decades, Baroness Caroline Cox stood alongside the Armenian people with courage, conviction and unwavering commitment. From raising the plight of Artsakh in the UK Parliament, to delivering humanitarian aid during times of war and blockade, Baroness Cox became one of the strongest voices for justice, self-determination and human rights for Armenians and the people of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
She travelled repeatedly to Armenia and Artsakh, witnessed the realities on the ground firsthand, advocated for Artsakh, defended the right of Armenians to live safely in their ancestral homeland, and consistently brought international attention to the persecution, displacement and destruction faced by the Armenian people and advocate for the Armenian prisoners of war.
At the ANC-UK Gala 2026, the Armenian National Committee of the United Kingdom proudly honoured Baroness Cox with an award recognising her extraordinary lifetime of service to the Armenian Cause. This video is a tribute to her decades of advocacy, solidarity and humanitarian work.
Her voice gave strength to countless Armenians around the world. Her dedication ensured that Artsakh and Armenia were never forgotten. We express our profound gratitude to Baroness Cox for standing with our people through every challenge and for dedicating her life to truth, justice and humanity.
