During the ANC-UK Gala 2026, Armen Bodossian reflected on the challenges facing Armenia and Artsakh, while reaffirming the importance of organised advocacy and community action in the United Kingdom.

“Armenia is in danger. A small nation in a volatile region—surrounded by hostile neighbours, facing ongoing threats, and living in the shadow of wider regional conflict.”

Speaking on behalf of ANC-UK, he reported about our work during the past year.

▪️ Parliamentary meetings with international legal and humanitarian experts

▪️ Support for the UK Parliamentary Inquiry into the destruction of Armenian heritage in Artsakh

▪️ Community commemorations, academic events and humanitarian fundraising initiatives

“We are a small, volunteer-driven team. We have no large infrastructure—just commitment, persistence, and belief in our cause.”

We will pursue the goals of the Armenian Cause no matter which government is in power in Armenia. The role of the diaspora is to support the Armenian Cause. “If we want results, we must invest in capacity.
